I'm going to be trying my best with future chapters with adding more to them. But I do apologize if chapters are short. I'm just trying my best to not overload chapters with so much stuff going on. Without further ado Chapter 14. ENJOY!

Chapter 14

Turquoise looked at her monitor as she worked. Her brows furrowed together in concern. Whatever was going on it made her have a sinking feeling in her chest. She turned her head sharply when she saw Jim coming onto the bridge.

"Captain!" Jim shouted alerting everyone he was there and wasn't supposed to be there.

"Jim, no!" Leonard shouted as he quickly followed Jim.

"Captain Pike, we have to stop the ship!"

"Kirk, how the hell did you get on board the Enterprise!" Captain Pike questioned turning sharply to the younger man.

Turquoise blinked a few times as she crossed her arms, her brows furrowed in concern wondering what Jim was trying to do.

"Captain, this man's under the influence of a severe reaction of a Melvaran flea vaccine, completely…"

"Bones, Bones…"

"...delusional. I take full responsibility."

"Vulcan is not experiencing a natural disaster. It's being attacked by Romulans."

"Romulans? Cadet Kirk, I think you've had enough attention for one day. McCoy take him back to medical, we'll have words later."

"Aye Captain."

"Look, sir, that same anomaly…"

"Mister Kirk…"

"Mister Kirk is not cleared to be aboard this vessel." Spock looked at Jim telling the captain what was not allowed.

"Look, I get it, you're a great orator. I'd love to do it again with you too."

"I can remove the Cadet…"

"Try it! This Cadet is trying to save the bridge."

"Jim." Turquoise said, narrowing her eyes at her older twin brother. She was now on her feet wondering where the heck he was going with this.

"By recommending a full stop mid-warp during a rescue mission?"

"It's not a rescue mission, listen, it's an attack." Jim said, defending himself.

"Based on what facts?"

"That same anomaly, a lightning storm in space that we saw today, also occurred on the day of my birth and Turquoise's birth. Before a Romulan ship attacked the USS Kelvin. You know that, sir, I read your dissertation. That ship which had formidable and advanced weaponry was never seen or heard from again. The Kelvin attack took place on the edge of Klingon space and at twenty-three hundred hours last night, there was an attack. Forty-seven Klingon warbirds destroyed by a Romulan, sir. It was reported that the Romulans were in one ship, one massive ship."

"And you know of this Klingon attack how?"

"Sir, I intercepted and translated the message myself. Kirk's report is accurate." Uhura explained to Captain Pike.

Turquoise looked at her brother with wide eyes. She didn't even remember what had happened.

"We're warping into a trap, sir. The Romulans are waiting for us, I promise you that." Jim said before looking at his sister.

Turquoise slowly nodded her head.

"The Cadet's logic is sound. And Lieutenant Uhura is unmatched in xenolinguistics, we would be wise to accept her conclusion." Spock said, looking at Pike.

"Scan Vulcan space, check for any transmissions in Romulan." Pike ordered.

"Sir, I'm not sure I can distinguish the Romulan language from Vulcan." One of the men said.

"What about you? Do you speak Romulan, Cadet?" Pike questioned Uhura.

"Uhura. All three dialects, sir."

"Uhura, relieve the lieutenant."

"Yes sir."

"Hannity, hail the USS Truman."

"All the other ships are out of warp, sir, and have arrived at Vulcan, but we seem to have lost all contact." Hannity said to Pike.

Uhura turned sharply to look at Captain Pike. "Sir, I pick up no Romulan transmission, or transmission of any kind in the area."

"It's because they're being attacked." Jim said before looking at his sister for help.

"Sir, we should do the shields, if there are attacks…" Turquoise said, her voice wavering slightly.

"Shields up, red alert." Pike nodded his head at what Turquoise had said.

"Arrival in Vulcan in five seconds... four... three... two…"

They arrived in a huge space battle. Wreckages were everywhere.

"Emergency evasive." Pike ordered his eyes wide of what had happened.

"Running sir." One of the officers said.

Everyone began their reporting of trying to get anything and everything that could help them.

"Damage report."

"Deflector shields are holding." Turquoise said looking over. Her heart rammed in her chest. She was hoping that this was just a dream and not real.

"All stations. Engineer Olson, report. Full reverse, come about starboard ninety degrees, drop us underneath and…"

Everyone looked at the massive Narada ship.

"Jim… isn't that…" Turquoise said softly moving towards her brother.

"The ship mom told us about? Yes…" Jim said softly.

Turquoise's hand went to his and Jim squeezed it lightly.
