It does mean a lot to me that you guys are enjoying this story. We have arrived at the last chapter of Iron Man. I do apologize for not getting this chapter out with the rest of Iron Man. For some reason, it had disappeared from here and I truly had thought that I had posted the last chapter of Iron Man for this story. But here it is. I do apologize that it took this long for me to even update this story. It shouldn't take too long to start the next part of this story since I'll be trying my best to start the next part of it, Iron Man 2. I'm kind of excited to start Iron Man 2. I think that I've decided on trying to update this weekly, meaning that I'll be updating 3 long wrapping stories each week and four once I get the Loki season 1 side story out, then it will become four stories being updated weekly in just Marvel. I can't wait to write more of Alexia into this story. I hope that you guys enjoy this final part of Iron Man. Without further ado Chapter 12. Enjoy!

Chapter 12

Alexia, Tony, and Pepper walked along the hallway.

Pepper shoved a written statement into his hands. "Here, your alibi. You were on your yacht. I've got port papers that put you in Avalon all night, and sworn statements from fifty of your guests."

"Maybe it was just the two of us. On the yacht, I mean." Tony said, looking over at Pepper.

Pepper cleared her throat. "Focus, please."

Tony grabbed an L.A. Time from the pile of papers in her arms, glancing at the headline. "WHO IS THE IRON MAN?" A grainy newspaper photo of the iron battle at Stark Industries. "Iron Man". Not technically accurate, since it's mostly carbon fiber and ceramic. But I like the ring of it. "Iron Man"..."

The three of them turned the corner.

Tony suddenly stopped meeting Pepper's eyes. "You know...that night at the concert hall. Do you ever think about it?"

Alexia pursed her lips together looking away from them, her cheeks flushing a little. Perhaps Tony and Pepper had something going on?

"I don't know what you're talking about, Mr. Stark." She brought her hands up to fix his unruly tie knot. "Will that be all, Mr. Stark?"

"That will be all Miss Potts."

IMIMIM

Rhodey stood in front of assembled reporters talking about what happened at Stark Industries. "I can confirm that a series of military test prototypes were involved in the incident at Stark Industries last night. I can also confirm that there was, for a brief time, the danger of an Arc Reactor "incident", which was rectified without injury to the public - and all power outages have been restored. Here now, to answer a few quick questions is Tony Stark."

Tony walked out with Alexia by his side as the two took the podium together.

Alexia patted her brother's arm lightly as he put his hand up to silence the bubbling questions.

"I've seen the papers. I've heard the reports. That's why I want to put an end to all this wild speculation. The truth is-" He looked to Rhodey, then to Pepper, over to his sister who was gripping his arm lightly, then out to the crowd. "I am Iron Man."

The reporters began to erupt asking more questions.

Alexia looked at her brother with a sour look on her face, not liking the idea that her brother had just told everyone that he was Iron Man and that his world just got a lot bigger than he would ever know.

Tony and Alexia came through the doors of his home.

"Jarvis," Tony called out to the AI.

"Welcome home-sir-ma-" Jarvis then suddenly cut out.

Alexia blinked a few times knowing that wasn't very normal to happen.

The two of them saw a man waiting in the shadows.

"I am Iron Man." The man said looking up at Tony. "You think you're the only superhero in the world, Mr. Stark? You've become part of a bigger universe, you don't know it yet."

"Who the hell are you?"

"Nick Fury, Director of Shield."

"Huh."

"I'm here to talk to you about the Avener Initiative."

Alexia took a deep breath looking at Fury with narrowed eyes. How dare he just walk into her brother's home just like that.

"Ah Agent Stark, glad to see you with your brother."

Tony suddenly looked at Alexia with wide eyes. "Wait, Agent?"

Alexia looked down suddenly ashamed that everything was now revealed that she had been working for the government.

"You work with him?"

"Tony… I…"

"Alexia, why didn't you tell me?"

"Tony, how would you have reacted if I told you I was part of Shield? You had been dodging Agent Coulson for months since you had come back and then I had to have Pepper talk to him about everything that happened."

"I would have supported you in this."

"Are you sure about that? You seem rather guarded about the idea of me being an agent."

"How long?"

"Only a few years… you have been so busy keeping a watchful eye on me…"

Tony took a breath, closing his eyes. "I'm not mad at you."

"You're not?"

Tony shook his head. "No, we're family. There is no reason for me to be upset with you…"

Alexia looked over at Fury. "I'll leave you two to talk about the Avenger Initiative," Alexia said walking out of the room. She already knew about the Avenger Initiative due to working with Shield for so long. She took a soft breath, rather happy that Tony wasn't mad at her for being part of Shield. But she knew that Tony was about to learn more about their world that he didn't quite know just yet.

A few months had passed since Tony had mentioned that he was Iron Man. Now Tony, Alexia, and Rhodey stared at a screen as the War Machine suit was being designed.

"Good. And I want a Gatling gun on the right shoulder." Rhodey explained to Tony.

"And a rocket launcher on the left? Where are you going to store all that ammo?" Tony questioned looking at Rhodey.

"Who's suit is this anyway? And do it in silver and black, would you?"

Alexia let out a soft laugh as the two men bickered back and forth. She was glad that things didn't change too much between the two of them. She had to admit that it was rather nice that the two of them were getting along as they had before since Tony had mentioned that he was Iron Man.
