Noah Potter felt good. No, he felt great.
He was on pace to win the Triwizard Tournament. Soon, he'd be crowned be the Boy-Who-Lived and the winner of the Triwizard Tournament. His mind was going to the hardships that would come after, like keeping the girls away from him.
In Noah's head, he was the most popular kid to ever grace Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In reality, not many people wanted to go even close to him. Not many ladies were attracted to his stringy red hair, hazel eyes and obesity. Only gold-diggers with Millicent Bulstrode and Ginny Weasley wanted to be with him.
If you don't know the tale of Noah Potter, it's one which is famous across the world. The Dark Lord Voldemort had broken into his house in order to kill him and after stunning his parents Lily and James Potter, cast the killing curse. But, the curse was magically sent back to Voldemort, and the Dark Lord was defeated. After his parents came to, they found Noah with a scar on his neck and proclaimed him the Boy-Who-Lived.
Being the only person to apparently survive the killing curse made Noah one of the most famous people in the Wizarding World. Everyone wanted to meet him. Companies wanted to endorse him. Kids wanted to be his friend.
He and his parents grew into this fame, eventually succumbing to it and becoming fame-hungry. They began wearing expensive clothes and going to galas. Soon, the Lily and James that everyone loved from Hogwarts was gone.
Noah had entered Hogwarts in 1991. He was immediately sorted into Gryffindor and was publicly welcomed into the house by Headmistress Minerva McGonnagall, who did it despite not liking Noah's attitude.
It turned out that Hogwarts' finest house got worse. Noah was revealed to be a bully. He was the self-proclaimed "King of Gryffindor" and with his friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, Noah bullied kids from other houses, calling them "dark."
He often butted heads with Draco Malfoy of Slytherin. Draco hated Noah for calling his mother "an evil slimy woman" the first time the two met while Noah hated Draco for being in Slytherin.
While also being the Boy-Who-Lived, Noah was also famous for the events that happened in his years at Hogwarts. Nothing spectacular happened in his first year, but it picked up in his second year.
During his second year, the Chamber of Secrets opened. After he was revealed to be capable of speaking Parseltongue, he was suspected of opening the Chamber and attacking Muggleborns. That was, until Hermione got attacked. He went down to the Chamber to try and defeat whoever hurt her, but found a dead basilisk. Terrified, he ran off and swore never to return. He then told McGonnagall that the monster was dead which was spun into him killing it.
In his third year, Peter Pettigrew escaped. Pettigrew had betrayed his parents' location to Voldemort and afterwards, was placed into Azkaban, the wizarding prison. He then escaped and began hunting Noah, trying to get revenge. His godfather Remus Lupin decided to take up the Defense Against the Dark Arts post to protect Noah. Remus was normally absent from Noah's life but wanted to protect his godson, so he returned.
When Noah asked where he had gone, Remus quietly said "I was searching." Noah quickly lost interest and didn't ask again. Third year ended in a showdown between Pettigrew and Noah's friends. Pettigrew managed to escape but Noah was happy with how things ended.
In Noah's fourth year, the Triwizard Tournament came to Hogwarts. It was a tournament where one champion from Hogwarts and two other schools, Durmstrang and Beauxbatons competed in three tasks. The winner of the tasks was declared the winner.
On Halloween, McGonnagall pulled out the champions' names from the Goblet of Fire. For Hogwarts, it was Hufflepuff Cedric Diggory. From Beauxbatons, it was veela Fleur Delacour. Durmstrang's champion was Quidditch star Viktor Krum. And then, it was revealed that someone had placed Noah's name in the cup.
This action temporarily made Noah's status in Hogwarts even lower. His best friend Ron turned against him. But Noah was still excited to compete and be even more famous.
In the first task, the champions had to take an egg from a nesting dragon. Cedric, who was unaware of this unlike all the other champions, was severely injured during this task. He managed to survive, but had to resign from the tournament.
Noah, Fleur and Viktor all made it through. And after the task, Noah's status managed to rise and Hogwarts decided to stand behind him (somewhat reluctantly) now that Cedric couldn't compete. He and Ron also reconciled.
In the second task, the champions had to dive underwater to rescue someone they cared about. For Fleur, it was her sister Gabrielle. For Noah, it was Ron and Viktor's hostage was Hermione as the two had gone to the Yule Ball together.
Due to Fleur and Gabrielle being Veelas, the two couldn't stay underwater for extended periods of time. Fleur couldn't get to her sister and since the judges couldn't interfere, Gabrielle ended up perishing in the lake.
Fleur's father was high up in the French Ministry and was angry about his little girl dying. So he sued the British Ministry for putting his daughter in a dangerous situation without his consent. He won the lawsuit and afterwards, Beauxbatons resigned in protest.
This takes us to the third task, where Noah currently was. He was going to win. It was just him and Krum left. And what Noah didn't know was that Barty Crouch Jr, one of Voldemort's followers, was posing as Alastor Moody, their defense teacher. Crouch, who wanted Noah to win, stunned Krum, leaving Noah as the only champion left.
It took time, but Noah finally reached the Triwizard Cup. The boy eagerly ran to, ready to proclaim himself the greatest wizard ever. Instead, he felt the pull of a Portkey.
Noah suddenly found himself in a graveyard and before he knew it, he was stunned by Peter Pettigrew.
Pettigrew grinned sadistically and as he tied Noah to a tombstone. Noah, having nothing better to do, read the tombstone and found that he was sitting on the grave of a man named Tom Riddle.
Pettigrew then began brewing something in a cauldron. Noah didn't have a great attention span (he barely managed As with the occasional EEs) but he was so terrified that he managed to focus for once.
Pettigrew was boiling some water for starters but then dropped a scaly thing into the water. It freaked Noah out but he still couldn't look away.
Muttering "flesh of the servant," Pettigrew cut off his hand, which caused Noah to scream in shock. The hand then fell into the cauldron.
Pettigrew then began walking towards Noah, who tried to escape before remembering that he had no idea where he was.
"Blood of the enemy" coincided with Pettigrew slashing the arm of Noah, who shrieked despite the shallow cut which Pettigrew gave him.
He then added the blood, which caused something to happen. From the depths of the cauldron, something emerged. Noah looked and saw a being rise from out of the cauldron. Lord Voldemort.
Lord Voldemort called his Death Eaters and began telling Noah about himself, who was trying not to shit his pants. Then, Voldemort walked over to Noah, and looked at him. Voldemort's face suddenly played host to a surprised look and then a scowl.
He turned to his death eaters "This is not the Boy-Who-Lived."
