Chapter 6: Showdown

Sam rubbed his temples, and Bella ruffled through her duffle, grabbing the Aspirin. "Here," She said, dropping two pills into his hand, and handed him a bottle of water. "Thanks," He murmured. "Visions?" John asks surprised, disbelief in his tone.

Bella frowned at the pain across Sam's features. She could actually relate. "Yes. I saw the demon burning a woman on the ceiling," She sat in the chair next to him, watching him just as closely. "And you think this is going to happen to the woman you met…" John trailed off. "They happen exactly the way I see it," Sam finished. "It started out as nightmares, then they started happening while he was awake,"

Dean explained, heading behind Sam to grab some more coffee. "It's not just him though. Bella too," John turned his eyes to her next. "You have visions too?" Bella shook her head. "I sense things sometimes. Sometimes I see things, or it just comes to me. I only had one, and it was when Meg had you guys in the apartment. I forgot about it honestly," She murmured, turning her attention back to Sam. "It's like whenever we get closer to anything that has do with the demon specifically, it gets worse,"

"Alright…when were either of you going to tell me about this?" The boys turned to John, and Bella could see it again. "We didn't know what it meant Dad, how were we supposed to tell you?" Dean asked. "So what. Something like this starts happening to your brother, you pick up the phone and call me," His voice was hard, and slightly disapproving.

Bella closed her eyes as Dean dumped his coffee in the sink. Bella realized that while family meant everything to them, they were also the most toxic thing to one another. "Call you? I called you from Lawrence and Sam called when I was dying. I'd win the lottery before getting you on the phone," Bella's brows rose. Dean was dying?

John and Dean stared each other down, and Bella grabbed Sam's hand in comfort. "Sweetheart, can you give us a minute?" John asked kindly, his eyes trained on Dean. "Um, yeah…" She stood. "She stays," Dean interrupted. She looked between the two of them, fiddling with her thumbs. "It's okay, sit down. You're right, I'm sorry," John murmured.

"Visions or no visions, that demon is coming tonight. We can't let this family go through the same hell we went through," Dean suddenly had a thought, and he turned his eyes to Bella. "Bella…is your mother alive?" Bella's brows rose in confusion. "What?" She asked.

Sam turned towards her too, his eyes widening. "I just remembered. All of these special people encountered Yellow-Eyes when they were 6-months old. Their mother….like ours…died in the fire. Is your mother dead?" Bella slowly shook her head. "No…I don't…remember any fire…"

The tension in the room suddenly grew. "I…I can call my mom," Dean nodded. "I think that's a good idea,"

Bella slipped out of the motel room, dialing Renee's number. She anxiously waited for it to ring, sighing in relief when she picked up. "Mom, I need to ask you something, and it's very important," Renee, hearing the urgency, stopped and listened. "Is everything alright?"

"Mom, was there a fire when I was a baby, six months old to be exact?" Renee was silent on the other end, and Bella could hear her breathing heavily. "Mom?" She asked. "Why do you want to know that?" She whispered on the other end. Bella closed her eyes. "Please…." Bella whispered.

"Yes. I had just put you down for the night. I heard you crying, and I made my way to your room. There was someone standing over your crib. He had these…yellow eyes. He went to pick you up, but there was something stopping him, like a bubble surrounding your crib. I tried to get to you, but something knocked me to the side and up the wall. I started bleeding…and next thing I know, that bubble around your crib expanded, and he was knocked to the side. I fell to the floor. I quickly scooped you up, and Charlie and I got out of the house. There was blood on your face, and I thought you were hurt, but you were just crying like a normal child. Your dad spent a long time trying to find out what happened, it's one of the reasons we separated. He kept going on and on about demons and supernatural creatures. Bella, what is this about?"

Renee questioned, concerned that Bella might be in danger or turning into Charlie with his strange delusions. "I…You wouldn't believe me if I told you. I love you, you know that right?" She asked. Renee couldn't say anything, too overwhelmed to understand. "Why does it sound like you're saying goodbye? Bella, will you just tell me what's going on?" She pleaded.

"This will probably be the last time you hear from me, and I just wanted you to know that…I'm happy I got to have you," "I-I love you too. You're not making any sense. Are you in trouble? What friends are you with? Talk to me!" Bella hung up the phone, smashing it on the ground.

"You made the right decision," Castiel's cool and monotone voice reached her ears, and she swiveled around to see him down the hall. She briefly glanced in the window seeing as John was on the phone, Sam and Dean both paying attention.

She quickly walked past, meeting him. "I don't feel like it," She whispered. "It is safer this way," He replied. "Walk with me," He turned the corner, and Bella followed. "I can't just leave…" She mumbled. "You told Dean Winchester," Bella nodded.

"I couldn't lie to him," Castiel nodded. "I'm just here to warn you. Tread lightly, and don't trust everything you see," Her brows furrowed. "What do you mean?" Castiel was suddenly gone, and she growled to herself. She turned around, shrieking as she ran into Dean. "Make noise, will you?" She griped. She lowered her eyes, seeing as he had his gun out. "Saw your phone, thought the worse. Who were you talking to?"

She stayed quiet, and he sighed. "The angel? Right," She nodded. "I know you don't believe me," She whispered. "Kind of hard to when he won't show himself to anyone except you. What's with the secrecy?" She shrugged. "I don't know, but he gave me a warning," Dean raised a brow. "Warning or a threat?" She sighed. "Just a warning. He said, 'Tread lightly, and don't trust everything you see," "What's that supposed to mean?" Bella hummed. "As soon as I find out, you'll be the first to know,"

Dean frowned but sat his gun back in his pants. "Hey, listen, things are about to get really hairy, and I need to know you're in, all in. Forget about dying and all that crap, we need you now, can you do that?" Bella immediately nodded. "I can," Dean nodded, "Good, something's come up," He led her back to the motel room. Bella could hear John inside. "Sam, I want to stop losing people we love. I want you to go to school, Dean to have a home. That girl out there to….find some normalcy, and I want Mary alive….I just….I want a lot of things," John stated running a hand through his hair.

Sam looked to her then, looking much relieved. "What did you find out?" Bella pursed her lips and she moved to one of the beds, sitting down on the edge. "There was a fire. She said there was like bubble that came from me, like I was protecting myself or something, I don't know. But there was a fire, and she said a man with yellow eyes was there…"

John nodded to himself becoming more convinced that he was doing the right thing. "What's happening?" She asked. "Meg wants the Colt," Dean replied. Bella turned to John next. "You're not going to let her have it are you?" She asked incredulously. John shook his head. "No, like I was telling the boys, no one outside of us and those vampires know what it looks like. Get an antique," Bella looked to Dean and Sam then, wondering if that was such a smart idea. "You're going to hand Meg a fake gun and hope she doesn't notice?" She asks, standing up.

John raised a brow, looking between Bella and Dean. "I swear she said the same thing you said," He chuckled. "Look kid, it's the best shot we have. You three are going to go save that woman and her baby, and kill that son of a bitch once and for all,"

She could see the hope in his eyes, and she felt for the man. "Okay. Let's go," The boys started moving then, grabbing their things, and putting things in the trunk of the Impala. "Kid," John murmured, stopping Bella in her tracks. "I think it's fair you call me Bella," She smiled.

John chuckled. "Bella," He glanced behind her to make sure neither Sam nor Dean were around before turning to her again. "None of us are good with words as you can see, but if something happens to me, I want you to tell them to never give up, and that when this is all said and done, they live normal lives, and leave all this crazy shit behind. They need to go out and find jobs, settle down, hell, find a girl like you somewhere and give me some grandkids," He chuckled.

Bella blinked away the moisture in her eyes. "John…" She started. "Hey now, no shedding tears. You barely know me," He said playfully. Bella snorted and rolled her eyes. "They care about you, and I care about them, so you're an extension of that. They love you, and I wish I could've had siblings, you know? A bigger family. Anyway, be careful out there tonight. You're the only peace and quiet I get nowadays," She murmured.

John held his hand out, shaking her hand. "They are all each other's had, and if anything happens to me, I need to know that someone else is looking out for them," Bella nodded frantically, pulling him into an awkward hug. John hesitated for a moment but hugged her back. "I'll always have their back. I hope one day that you can be reunited with your wife, even if that be in death," He squeezed her a bit, pulling away.

"I hope so too,"

"That one," Bella pointed, bending down to look at the gun. "That there is an old piece of metal. Buying a gift? You two seem kind of young to be interested in antiques," The older man chuckled. Dean chuckled. "For a friend of ours. She really wants something like this,"

The shop owner went to retrieve it, and Bella dug in her back pocket for cash. "What are you doing?" Dean asked, pulling out his card. Bella raised a brow. "While I am sure Meg and other demons don't know your aliases, I think it's better to not leave a trace. Besides, I was left this money and there's nothing I can think to do with it,"

Dean slipped his card back into his wallet, playfully rolling his eyes. "There's plenty we can do with that, but you have a point, even if it bruises my ego," Bella chuckled and slapped the cash in his hand. "Then you can pay for it,"

The man came back out a few seconds later with the gun in a bag. Dean paid, and took the bag, giving the man a smile. They left the store and got into the car. Dean started the Impala, driving off. "I just realized something," Dean stated, and Bella hummed. "If we get this demon, all of this will be over, and Sam can live a normal life, and this whole destiny bullshit, fate, will be over. You won't have to…" He trailed off, glancing over at her. Bella realized he had a point, and she wondered why Castiel approached her again. "What about you?" She asked. He raised a brow, internally sighing as she picked up on what he left out. "What about you? You want Sam to live a normal life, but you never said what you wanted,"

Dean shrugged. "I don't know. Of course I don't want to do this for the rest of my life, but I don't know anything outside of it," She frowned. "Well, if we do get Yellow-Eyes, and you still plan to do this, even if for a little while, I'd like to stay," Dean immediately shook his head. "No. No way. You should want to go out there and live a normal life, away from demons, ghosts, vampires, whatever the hell else is out there," Bella shrugged. "I don't think there's any way for me to be normal. From the very beginning of my life, it wasn't normal, and after I went to Forks, there was nothing normal about me. I wouldn't be able to sit in my house, know there's some monster out there ready to hurt someone and not do a thing about it. Besides, can you imagine me telling some guy this story? I'd be in the looney bin," She chuckled.

"You're serious, aren't you?" Dean asked, looking over at her. She nodded. "I have no one. I cut my mother off for her safety. My father is dead. This, you and Sam, is something out of the nothingness I have. I always felt like I didn't belong with other people, even in College. I feel at home here, as crazy as that may sound. Natural, or supernatural, I think I would always end up here,"

Dean didn't say anything at first then looked over at her. "I've never gotten to spend a long time around the people we saved, but it's nice to have you, and know that you don't want this to happen to anyone else," Bella smiled, a blush spreading across her cheeks. "Whatever happens, I've got your backs,"

"Why?" Dean questioned. Bella's face scrunched up in thought. "You saved my life first of all. I look at you two, and see young men trying to save a world that was destined for it from the moment it was created. I see two brothers that are trying to live a life when they shouldn't have. I promised your father. You can't do it alone. I'm sure there are more hunters here, but I'm sure they won't look out for you like a family member would, or a friend. Speaking of friends, you're the only ones I have so, that too,"

Dean chuckled. "Friends huh?" Bella laughed softly. "Well, I certainly don't see you as brothers of my own. Simply a girl with two guys," Dean snorted. "God, that sounded like a bad porno," Bella burst into laugher, and she lightly hit Dean's arm. "I don't even want to know,"

"First time a girl has called me a friend," He admitted behind a chuckle. "You should be honored then," She replied, looking out of the window. "Totally," Dean smarted. Dean slows to a stop, seeing John and Sam waiting for them. They get out of the running car, and Bella waits beside the Impala.

She looked up at the overcast sky, praying that everything would be okay. Dean hands John the paper bag, and Bella watched them talk. John lays their hands on both of their shoulders, nodding at them, speaking softly. He hands them the real Colt, and they stare at each other for a moment longer. She realized that they were saying 'I love you' without saying it. It made her heart hurt.

John glanced over at her, giving her a nod. She waved in return, watching him get into the truck, and take off. Sam and Dean just stood there for a moment, and Bella sighed softly. The sky opened above them, and a slight drizzle started. "Guys," She called, snapping them out of their trance.

They started their way back to the Impala, and Bella got into the back seat. Sam is the one to drive to Monica's house, and they sit in the car waiting. "I don't know how we're going to get them out of the house," Sam murmured. "Gas leak?" Bella asked. Dean shook his head. "Doesn't work all that often," Sam leaned back in the sat a bit. "The truth?" He asked. Dean glanced over at him with an eyebrow raised.

"Nah!" They chorused, causing Bella to smile. "It's just with what's coming for them," Dean nodded in understanding. "We've only got one shot at this, and we need that demon to show itself, and get it, before it gets them," Bella watched the house, looking at every open window, hoping to see something.

The boys briefly wondered about John, and Bella let them have their moment to themselves. "You're quiet," Sam piped up, and Bella turned to look at him. "What's there to say?" She asked. Sam shrugged. "I know we sometimes forget you're here, but you can talk to us," He offered. She looked down at the seat before looking back out of the window again.

"I wish my dad was alive, and that I didn't have to lie to my mother. Then again, I'd probably be dead right now. I want you two to have this nightmare over with. You fight more than women, but I've never seen two siblings love each other the way you do. You'd die for one another,"

Sam smiled gently at her, squeezing her shoulder. "In case something happens, I just want you to know Dean that I could always count on you, you know?" Bella touched her chest as Sam tried spilling out his words. "Woah, no, not this just in case crap man. I don't want to hear that speech man; nobody is going to die. Not us, that family, nobody except that demon. Tonight, will be his last night on Earth, you got it? That goes for you too sweetheart. We're getting out of this alive, and that son of a bitch will be dead once and for all," Both Sam and Bella nodded.

After about 10 minutes, Bella reaches to her head. "Ugh," She grunts, a sharp pain in her skull. "Guys," She grunted out, looking to the front of the car. The radio started to change stations, and the wind outside started to pick up. "It's coming," She hissed, rubbing her temple. "Let's go," Bella quickly shook her head, ignoring the headache, stepping out as well. Dean pulled her along, telling her to get her head in the game.

Dean quickly used a card to open the front door silently. They quietly head inside, and Dean suddenly ducks, pushing Bella down along with him. The lamp crashed to the floor, and Dean grappled with the husband, using the bat he had to push him against the wall, gaining the upper hand. "Hey! Be quiet and listen to me, we are trying to help you," Dean snapped. "Sir, please, we mean you no harm," Bella whispered, hoping to encourage him. Monica's voice floated from upstairs, "Honey, is everything alright?" The husband snapped, "Monica! Get the baby!" Sam quickly yelled not to go in the nursery, and made his way up the stairs.

Dean quickly knocked the man unconscious, lifting him up. "Go. Help Sam," Bella nodded, running up the stairs. She skidded to a stop as she saw Monica get flung against the wall. She ran inside the nursery to see a dark shadow figure grinning at Sam. The yellow eyes flicked to her, and his grin grew. Bella found herself flying, her back hitting the wall of the nursery. Sam raised the Colt, letting off a shot. The figure disappeared, and Bella fell to the floor. Monica tries to rush into the room, but Sam stops her with his arm. "No, wait! Where the hell did it go?" Monica was still fighting Sam when Bella lunged forward, grabbing the screaming child, cradling her to her chest. She quickly grabbed the blankets, wrapping the baby in them. The crib suddenly burst into flames, and Sam was pulling Monica out of the nursery.

The burst pushed Bella back a few feet, but her grip didn't falter. "Get her out of here!" Dean rounded the corner into the nursery, grabbing Bella's jacket and pulling her out of the room. They rushed down the stairs, faltering as a big boom shakes the house. "Come on!" He pushed her towards the doorway, and they make it out on the lawn, hunching over to shield themselves from the falling glass.

Monica is crying as she quickly calms her husband, grabbing her baby from Bella, saying a quiet thank you. Dean and Sam turn to the burning house, and they see the figure staring down at them. Sam tries to make his way inside but is stopped by Dean. Bella looks up at the figure, a glare in her eyes.

"We will get you, you sick son of a bitch," She growled. It disappeared, and Bella laid her hand on Sam's shoulder. Feeling a trickle of something on her lip, she raises her hand, wiping under her nose. She pulls her hand back to see blood.

Dean notices, coming to stand in front of her. He tilts her head up, taking a good look at her nose. "Come on," He heads back toward the Impala, and Sam follows immediately. Bella waits there for a moment longer before turning back to look at the family. She moved past them and to the car, hopping in the backseat. Dean pulled off, and headed back towards the nearest motel.

"I'll go get us checked in," Bella whispered, stepping out when Dean pulled into the parking lot. Dean shut off the Impala, he and Sam just sitting there for a moment. Neither one of them said a word. Bella paid for a room. "Have any cots?" The worker said a quick no, taking the cash.

"I need at least two keys," She mumbled. He sighed heavily, handing her a key. "Your nose is bleeding," He states worriedly. Bella wiped at her nose again, blinking away the dizzy feeling. "I'm…fine," Bella murmured, turning around to head back outside.

Her ears started to ring a bit, and she saw the Impala in front of her, stumbling her way towards it. Her eyes were becoming heavy, but she shook her head. She fought the feeling of wanting to pass out a bit longer, knocking on the driver side window.

Dean turned to her, opening the door. He stepped out, catching her as she stumbled. "Woah," "I don't feel so good," She mumbled, leaning against him. "Alright, up we go," He bent, sweeping her legs off the ground, holding her bridal style.

"What's going on?" Sam questioned, and Dean tossed him one of the motel keys. "Don't know, grab our stuff," Sam rushed ahead to find their room. Bella leaned her head on his shoulder. "I feel like…mmm like my head is going to explode," She moaned out painfully. Dean's arms tightened around her as he rushed behind Sam. Walking into the room, Dean laid her on the closest bed, and Bella quickly shut her eyes. "Turn off the light," She mumbled. Dean quickly hit the switch; half of the room now only glowing.

She took in deep breaths curling into a ball, closing her eyes. She flinched away when Dean touched her head. "Don't worry about me, focus on your dad, you need to check up on him anyway. Sam, can you please hand me my bag, or grab one of those pain relievers?" Sam nodded, grabbing a bottle of water. He handed her some Tylenol, and she took them, closing her eyes.

Dean went ahead and pulled out his phone, calling John. He started to pace as it went past the third ring. Sam sits on the other bed, putting his head in his hands. "Come on, dad. Pick up," Dean growled, hanging up the phone. He tries again, only to have it do the same thing. "Something's wrong," He said, shaking his head, his mind going through every scenario he could think of. "Did you hear me? Something's wrong," He repeated. Sam sighed heavily looking up at him. "If you could've just let me go back, I could have ended this once and for all,"

Dean shook his head. "You would've gotten yourself killed. It was a burning house," Sam disagreed, "You don't know that," Dean ran a hand through his hair shaking his head. "So what, you're just going to sacrifice yourself, is that it?" Sam stood angrily, nodding. "You're damn right I am," Dean scoffed, shaking his head. "Not going to happen, not as long as I'm around," Sam gave him an incredulous look. "Dude, what the hell are you talking about?!" Sam snapped.

"Keep your voice down Sammy!" He snapped quietly, glancing over at the shifting form on the bed. "I wanna waste it, I do! It's just not worth dying over," Sam reared back, "What?" Dean closed his eyes, regret in his tone. "If it means that you get yourself killed, then I hope we never find the damn thing,"

Sam's lips quiver, and he stares Dean down, unable to fathom what he was hearing. "That son of a bitch killed Jess….it killed mom. How can you say that?" Dean opened his eyes, and they were filled with tears. "No matter what we do, they are never coming back, they're gone Sam,"

Sam shoves Dean against the wall, shaking his head. "Don't you say that. Not you. Not after all this," He snapped, staring down at Dean with hard, broken eyes. "Don't say that,"

"Stop fighting," They both turned their heads. Bella blinked her eyes open, staring at the two of them. "Sorry Sweetheart," Dean whispered. "It's my fault, we'll keep it down," Sam apologized. She was already drifting off to sleep again, and Sam let go of Dean. "Sam, the three of us, it's all we have. Without you or dad, I can barely hold it together," Remembering the predicament they were in, Sam ran a hand through his hair.

"He should've called by now, try again," Sam sat back on the bed, looking back at Bella. She didn't look too good if he could be honest. She looked deathly pale, like all the life got sucked out of her. "Where is he?!" Dean's sudden outburst gathered Sam's attention, and he stood worriedly. Dean slowly lowered the phone, tossing it on the bed. "Dean…." Sam quietly spoke, tapping his foot against the floor. "Meg has him Sam,"

Dean tucks the Colt into his pants, tossing Sam his bag. "We need to go," Sam just sat where he was thoroughly confused. "What? Why?" "Because it knows we are here, and it knows we have the gun. It'll probably come for us next," Sam nodded, coming to a stand. "Good, we've got three bullets left. We can take him," Dean shook his head, pointing over to Bella.

"We are not ready. She is not ready. We are no good to dad, ourselves, or her, dead. We are leaving now Sam," Sam disagreed. "We can leave her with someone, we can do it ourselves," Dean shook his head immediately, giving Sam a hard look. "Leave her? No! With who Sam? Who is going to protect her like we do? She has no one. She's one of us now, and she comes along dammit," Sam scrubbed a hand down his face, sighing. "You're right, I'm sorry," He apologized.

He caught the keys Dean tossed at him, slinging his and Bella's bag over his shoulders. Bella groaned out as Dean slipped his arms under her legs. Bella wrapped her arms around his neck, and Sam frowned as she went back to sleep almost immediately. "Something is wrong with her," He stated, his voice laced with concern. "Probably the proximity to the demon. She'll be alright," Dean responded, trying to convince himself of his own words.

They checked out of the motel getting a refund and Dean laid Bella across the back seat, before hopping into the car, Sam getting in on the passenger side. Dean quickly started the car, being careful not to jostle Bella too much, hightailing it out onto the highway. "We need a plan, they're going to want to trade him for the gun,"

Sam was quiet for a moment, suddenly speaking up, his voice grave. "Wouldn't Meg have mentioned that if Dad was still…"

Dean cut him off with a shake of his head. "No. Don't. He's alive, I know it. Screw everything right now. Everything stops until we get him back, got it? I already know what you're going to say, and the answer is no. Screw the job, screw what he'd want. We need to think this through. We're two men down right now,"

Sam looked out of the window, "How do we even find him? I doubt they leave a trail," Dean tapped his fingers against the steering wheel. "We're going to need help,"

Dean drove them to John's old friend, Bobby Singer. If anyone would know anything, it'd be Bobby. Bella was still out cold when morning rolled around, and at one point, Sam couldn't help but reach over and take her pulse. "Dude, what the hell was that for?" Dean asked. Sam shrugged. "Had to check. She hasn't woken up since," Sam noticed that Dean had never acted the way he was now, and it was odd. He was very protective, but Sam wouldn't call it brotherly. He was still quite irritated that Sam even mentioned leaving her alone.

"She's not dead, just…sleeping," He stated, his eyes going to her form in the rearview mirror. "Is her pulse normal?" Dean asked after a few seconds. Sam nodded. "As far as I can tell. It's like her body shut down," Dean cursed under his breath, pushing on the gas pedal.

They arrived at Bobby's a few hours later, and dirt flew in the air as the car halted to a stop. "Stay here for a second, alright?" Dean cast Bella one more glance before heading inside. Sam sighed, looking at the junkyard of cars. He glanced back as Bella slowly shifted. "You awake?" He asked softly.

She blinked her eyes open. "Where…" She asked, wincing at the dryness of her throat. She weakly tried to sit up. "Hold on," He advised, quickly getting out of the car. He opened the back door, reaching in to help her out. He wrapped a firm arm around her waist, holding her up. "Can you walk?" He asked, gripping her tighter as she wobbled. He scooped her up off the ground calling for Dean.

Dean came rushing from the house followed by Bobby. "Jesus Christ boy, you weren't kidding. Bring her in, let me clear the couch," Bobby rushed back inside, and Dean moved out of the way. He went to turn off the car and grab their bags.

Heading back inside, Sam was sitting next to her on the couch, helping her sit up, talking to her slowly. Dean stood in front of them, trying to hide his worry. "I'm fine," She said slowly. "You've been out for 48 hours, don't say you're fine," He said. She glanced up at him, "48 hours?" Dean nodded.

She blinked slowly, almost like she was disoriented. She leaned her head to the side, her body slumping to the couch. "I'm just gonna…close my eyes…just for a second," Bobby watched her concerned. "She needs some water and some good food. I can betcha all that out food isn't good for her, I'll make something to eat, we'll get back to John in a second,"

Sam decided to explore a bit, looking at all the books he had. "So, what's the story with her?" Bobby asked, going to the stove and putting on some eggs. Dean caught Bobby up on Sam and how it led them to Bella. "She's been with us for a good month now, helping us out. She's gifted like Sam. She senses things, see's things I guess. We were so close to catching that thing and after that she's been out of it,"

Bobby sat down a plate in front of Dean, "Eat up boy, you too Sam. I'll get her up," Dean didn't argue, the need for a home cooked meal too great. Bobby approached the sleeping girl, gently coaxing her awake. "Hey, name's Bobby. You look like you need to eat something more than greasy foods,"

Bella smiled in thanks. She took the plate with shaky hands, slowly gathering the food on the fork before eating. "What's your name?" He asked. Bella hummed in delight, closing her eyes. "Looking better already," He commented. After chewing, she answered, "Isabella Swan. I liked to be called Bella," She smiled. "God, these are really good eggs," Bobby chuckled. He racked his brain at her last name.

"Swan you say?" She nodded. "I've only met one person with the name Swan. Charlie Swan wouldn't happen to be your old man, now would he?" Bella stopped chewing, nodding slowly. "I ran into him a few years ago. He was out here looking for some answers about demons and other creatures. He accidentally stumbled on me and Rufus during a hunt. I convinced him not to choose this life but sent him some books in case he ran into anything. Kept in touch over the years. How is he?"

Bella looked away, shaking her head. "He's dead, almost two months ago now. A cold one," Bobby sighed. "Sorry kid. When you're feeling a bit better, I have a room upstairs that you can sleep in, a shower up there too. Want seconds?" He asked. She nodded gratefully.

"Please," She handed Bobby the plate, and he stood, smiling. "Your girl in there is looking better," Dean just nodded, gulping back his beer. "Did you give her holy water?" He asked. Bobby nodded, fixing another plate. "Yeah, can't be too careful," Before Bobby left the kitchen, Dean mumbled, "She's not my girl," Bobby's response was just a chuckle before he disappeared around the corner. "Bobby, this book, it's like nothing I've ever seen," Sam said awed, flipping through the pages. Bobby looks up, "Key of Solomon? Yeah, it's the real deal," Bella said a quiet thank you, eagerly scarfing down the breakfast. Bobby went over to Sam, pointing to a page. "These really work. You get a demon in there; they're trapped and powerless. It's like a satanic roach motel," Sam just shook his head, reading a page.

"Man knows his stuff," Dean commented, drinking the rest of his beer. He sat down next to Bella, nudging his arm against hers. "Had me worried for a moment," He admitted. She sat the plate down on the floor, turning her gaze to him. She realized over time that Dean wasn't one to openly express his emotions, with anyone for that matter, but she could see it in his eyes.

He was scared. It wasn't just her, but the situation as a whole. "Wasn't my intention," She replied, eliciting a chuckle from him. "Just glad you're okay. What happened back there?" Bella shrugged. "I honestly have no clue, everything went into overdrive," She explained, trying to remember. Dean laid a hand on her shoulder, "Don't stress yourself," She laid her hand over his, sighing, glaring holes into the couch.

"I'll tell you what, this is some serious crap you three stepped in," Bella turned her attention to Bobby. "How so?" Sam questioned. "Well, in a year I see about three demon possessions, four tops, but this year? 27. Means there are more and more demons walking among us, a lot more," Bella frowned, "I assume that's something to be worried about, do you know why?" She asked.

Bobby shook his head, stepping off the desk. "No, but I know it's something big. There's a storm coming, and you three, John included, are in the middle of it, and big," Bella and Dean caught eyes. Everyone quieted as Bobby's dog started barking outside.

Bobby's concerned glance didn't help much as he walked towards the window. Peering through the glass, he saw that his dog was no where in sight. "Something ain't right," At that moment, his front door crashed open, and in walked Meg. She looked at the four of them, a sneer on her face. "Let's cut the bullshit yeah?" Dean is the first to move, grabbing Bobby's flask of holy water. He lunges for her, only to be sent flying back into a stack of books. "Dean!" Meg watched with narrowed eyes as Bella rushed to his side.

Bella lifted his head, eyeing the Knick on his head. "You bitch," She snapped. Meg just smirked. "Takes one to know one sweetheart," She taunted. Bella pursed her lips, coming to a stand. Sam rushed to grab her arm, pulling her behind him, while also standing in front of Bobby protectively.

Meg tilted her head, her short blonde hair sticking to her forehead. "I want the Colt. The real one Sam. Right. Now." She stalked forward, and they moved back slowly. "We don't have it on us. We buried it," Meg seemed to become more irritated as she stalked towards them. "Didn't I say no more bullshit? I mean I'm a little underwhelmed here, after everything I've heard about you Winchesters. You men lack luster, you know that? Now her? I'd save your time honey and mosey right over here. We'll save you a seat," Meg winked at Bella, turning her gaze back to Sam.

"I mean, did you think I wouldn't find you?" She asked. "Actually," She swiveled around to see Dean standing behind her. "We were counting on it," He pointed to the ceiling where a Devil's trap had been painted. "Gotcha, sweetheart," Sam pushed a chair forward, hitting the back of Meg's legs causing het to fall back in the chair. He got a good grip on her as Bobby handed Dean some rope. After tying her to the chair, they stepped back, their eyes full of anger. Bobby pulled Bella into the kitchen handing her a large bag of salt. "Go ahead and start covering all the doors and windows. I'll start upstairs," Bella nodded, and did as instructed. She glanced over every so often as Dean prodded her for information. Her eyes widened as he slapped Meg across the face. "Dean!" She hissed, gathering his attention. Her expression urged them both into the kitchen. "She's telling the truth. That is a girl. Her eyes aren't black when she's in that thing," She whispered.

Dean glanced back, a frown on his face. "Are you sure?" Bella nodded. "She's right. There's an innocent girl trapped in there. You've got to be careful with her," Bobby commented. "I saw an exorcism spell in the book, maybe that'll work," Bella looked to Bobby then, seeing his nod.

Bella stood off to the side as Sam started to read in Latin, watching as Meg became more and more uncomfortable, so far as to wince with every word. "I'm going to kill you all. Every last one of you. I'm going to peel…the flesh from your body and burn it," Sam started to read some more, and Dean kept prodding, receiving the same answer until Meg finally caved.

"He's in a building, in Missouri! That's all I know, I swear!" Bella winces as Meg screams out in pain before a black smoke releases from her body and through the ground. Bella rushes forward, grabbing Meg's face, looking her in the eyes. She was sweating, shaking lightly. "Thank you," Meg whispered. Bella nodded, bending down to untie her ankles. "Are one of you going to help?" She asked, looking at the boys.

Meg was able to give them some information before she passed out. Lack of nutrition and other ailments had caused her to go into shock. They learned that the demon had been inhabiting the poor girl for a year.

"Hurry on now, go find your dad and when you do, come one back here. I won't even try to shoot him," Bella chuckled. Bobby turned to her next. "You? Get some sleep and eat more than whatever you're eating, you'll need it. Don't let these idjits go for days without a proper meal yeah?" Bella nodded, shaking his hand. "It was nice to meet you, I hope to see you again." Bobby nodded. "Yeah, I expect to see you all back in one piece,"

Jefferson City, Missouri

Sam is flipping through the Key of Solomon, while Bella and Dean are packing arsenals. The Missouri sky was overcast, and it almost felt gloomy. There was no one around in close proximity, and they were hoping to keep it that way. Dean closes the trunk, and Sam is curiously staring at the trunk. He comes over and wipes the dust off before drawing on the lid with a piece of chalk.

"Dude, what the hell are you drawing on my car!?" He snapped, and Bella tilted her head at what Sam was drawing. "It's a Devil's Trap. Demons can't get through it or inside of it," Dean gave him a 'what the fuck' look, and Bella snorted softly, looking away when Dean cast her a similar glance. "The trunk is a lockbox now. We have a place to hide the Colt while we go get dad," Sam explained, pulling out the gun.

"Wait, no, the gun is coming with us, we're not leaving it here," Dean argued. Sam fired back stating how they needed to preserve what bullets they had left. Bella watched them debate for a moment before she cut in. "Look, you're both right, but Sam has a point, they can't get their hands on it. We've got plenty of holy water and we'll do what needs to be done. Okay?" Dean glared at them before putting the Colt in the trunk.

They start to head in the general direction of population, keeping themselves hidden in case someone saw them. Dean peered through the trees as they rushed past, coming to a stop. "Hey…look. I think I know what Meg meant by 'Sunrise'. Freaking apartments," Bella and Sam both peered through the trees. "They could be anyone…" Bella stated, her eyes darting to the people walking around. "And they know exactly what we look like. This isn't going to be easy,"

Dean wrinkled his nose, looking over the apartment. "Pull the fire alarm. Demons won't care,"

"Okay, but then the city responds in what, seven minutes?" Sam asked. Dean nodded. "Seven minutes exactly," Bella stood up from beside Sam nodding. "Okay, what about after we pull the alarm….what then?" Sam and Dean shared a glance. "We get a firefighter suit," Bella's brows crinkled, but she slowly nodded. "Well, okay. I'll pull the alarm then,"

Dean and Sam stood off to the side as Bella walked into the building, looking around at the many faces that weren't paying them any attention. "She could be one," Dean murmured softly. "Dude, she's like 100," Dean shrugged. "I don't think that matters to them," Sam looked at his watch.

"Okay, here she comes. Now we wait," Bella calmly walks from the building as people rush in and out of the building. She meets back up with the boys, the three doing their best to get lost in the crowd. The seven minutes were excruciatingly slow, and finally the fire department showed. "Come with me," Dean pulled Bella along towards one of the firefighters. "Excuse me sir, is there a fire?" Dean asked, worry on his face. Bella had to admit that he was good.

She did her best to feign the same emotion, following his lead. "That's what we are trying to figure out, now you two need to step back," The firefighter laid his hands on their shoulders, pushing them away. "We left our cat, and uh she pee's a lot when she hears loud sounds," Bella piped up, and the firefighter continued to escort them away. "Look, we'll check things out. I'm sure it found a way onto the fire escape. Then again, there may be no fire. Now please, stay back,"

Once they were out of the way, the firefighter left, and Dean looked around before grabbing Bella's hand. "Sam's got what we need. Let's fill these suckers up with Holy Water," They dipped behind the truck, and Dean pulled out a large bottle of Holy Water out of the bag Sam had. He started to fill up the portable thanks. Sam handed Bella a suit, giving her a sheepish smile. "Smallest one I could find," Bella started to slip into it, looking around. Sam did the same, and Dean hooked the holy water up. He then dressed in his own, unable to contain his grin.

"I always wanted to be a firefighter," Sam gave him a look, surprised at that. "Never knew that. Let's go," The three walk inside undetected, and Bella pulls out the EMF. "This way," Bella leads them down a series of hallways, the sound of the EMF getting higher in pitch. Bella pushed down the antenna, slipping it back in Sam's bag. Dean bags on the door, his voice lowering an octave.

"Fire department! We need to evacuate the building!" The door opens, and Sam and Dean rush in first, knocking the woman who answered down. Bella quickly went into Sam's duffel grabbing the salt. "Hurry up!" Sam pulled the struggling demon off the floor, shoving them into the closet behind the door. Bella placed the salt under the door, and everything ceased for the moment. Bella shimmies out of her suit and the boys do the same, this time pulling out their guns. Bella frowned. She should be carrying one. She made a mental note to bring it up later. She trailed behind them, and Dean opened the only other door in the apartment. Bella breaths a sigh as they find John on the bed. Dean checks him, and closes his eyes. "He's breathing. We need to get out of here," Dean pulls out his knife to cut the ropes, and Bella quickly moves forward. "Stop. We need to make sure he isn't possessed,"

She meets eyes with the both of them. "We have to be sure," Sam nodded in agreement. He pulls out a flash, sprinkling Holy Water on him. Bella holds her breath as nothing happens. Her shoulder's relaxed as he groaned. "Dad?" Dean asked, cutting him loose. "Why is there water on me?" They each helped him off the bed, and Bella goes to the bedroom door, grabbing the duffle. "Where's the Colt?" John mumbled. "We have it," Bella answered.

She started to make her way to the door, but it bursts open revealing two demons. Bella sucked in a breath, rearing away from the door, swiveling on her feet. "Back! Go!" Sam and Dean quickly pulled John back into the room, and Bella slammed the door shut, locking it. "Shit!" She screeched as an axe comes through it.

Sam pulled her back and started to pour salt around the door. "Guys, lets go!" Dean snaps, helping John down the fire escape. Bella pulls on Sam's shirt, grabbing his bag. "Enough, get the window," She went through the window first, helping Sam. He poured salt on the sill, and he followed Bella down. Dean is helping John down the street, and she and Sam rush past to get the Impala.

Sam is suddenly knocked to the side. "Sam!" Bella screams, her eyes widening as a man started to plummet him with his fists. She goes to his aid, somehow knocking him to the ground. "Shit!" Dean puts John to the side and starts to run to their aid.

The man pushes Bella off, sending her flying a few feet away. She groans out, rolling over on her stomach. She crawls over to Sam, holding his face. "Get up," She whispered, her eyes widening as Dean was tossed into a car windshield. The man hit Bella across the face, effectively getting her out of the way. He went back to beating Sam, and Dean pulled out the Colt, letting off a shot.

The man fell to the ground dead, and Bella and Dean just stared at the body. Dean was the first to move, bending down to pull Sam from the ground. "Sam! Come on!" Bella got to her feet, wiping her mouth. "I'll go get John," She rushed to where Dean left John, helping him up. "I need your help a bit big guy. You're heavy," She grunted, draping his arm over her shoulders.

She turns her head to see Dean holding Sam up. "Got him?" Dean asked. Bella nodded, following beside him. They made it back to the Impala unscathed, and Bella propped John up in the back, while Dean did the same for Sam on the side.

Bella gets into the passenger seat, and Dean starts the car pulling off. "You okay?" Bella asked, leaning back a bit to get a look at the back of his head. "Fine, you?" Bella nodded, and Dean quickly glanced over at her. "Need to put some ice on that," He murmured. Bella shrugged. "I'll live. It's those two we need to be worried about. God," She turned in the seat, wincing at Sam's beat-up face.

"He'll be fine. We're going to lay low for a while," Bella leaned back in the seat, looking out of the window as Dean drove through the backroads. Bella looked at him every so often, seeing as he kept gritting his teeth. She hesitantly reached for his hand that sat in between them. He looked at her briefly before turning back to the road, moving his hand away.

Thinking she went a bit too far, she pulled her arm back, only to stop as he placed his back in hers, their fingers linking together. They rode in silence, and as evening rolled around, Dean slowed down, leaning forward. "Looks abandoned, don't you think?" He asked. Bella leaned ahead too, squinting her eyes. "It does. I'll go inside and check it out," Dean stopped her with a hand. "What?" She asked. Dean turned to her looking confused. "I thought chicks don't go inside abandoned cabins," Bella smirked, "Lucky for you, I'm no ordinary chick," Dean let her go, watching her with his eyes as she flicked on a flashlight, going towards the cabin.

Dean stepped out, pulling out his gun. He looked around, waiting. Dean sighed. "Um, I don't normally do this, but if you're real, she doesn't deserve this. She's the most kindhearted person I know," He whispered softly. He swiped a hand over his face, shaking his head.

"All good inside, lights work too," Dean almost jumped, but he quickly composed himself. "Shouldn't sneak up on people sweetheart. It'll get you killed," Bella softly chuckled, going to get Sam. "You can get your dad this time," They helped both men into the cabin, Dean finding a room to lay John in.

Sam was slowly gathering himself as Bella sat him on the bed. "Easy," She soothed, crouching in front of him. "I'll get some first aid," Sam nodded. Bella stood up, scooting around Dean as he went salting all openings.

Bella sat beside Sam, softly patting his face with her alcohol-soaked cotton balls. "Sorry!" She winced hearing his hiss of pain. "I'm alright Bella," Sam whispered, taking the cotton balls from her hands. She pursed her lips but nodded. Sam then turned to Dean. "How's Dad?" Dean glanced back towards the room, "He's fine. Just needed some rest. You okay?" Dean questioned, glancing back at Sam. "I'll be fine. You don't think we were followed here right?"

"Nah. We couldn't have found a better place," Dean followed Bella with his eyes as she stood up, attending to her own busted lip. Sam shakes his head slowly, rubbing he back of his neck. "You uh…saved my life back there,"

Dean snorted, leaning against the wall. "Thank Bella. She went WWE on his ass," He shot her a wink, then looked back at Sam. "Guess you're glad I bought the gun," "I'm trying to thank you here man,"

Dean just chuckled before getting serious. "Sam? You know the man I shot? He was human, there was someone in there, you know?" Sam crossed his arms over his chest, sympathy on his face. "You did what you had to do Dean. You had no choice,"

Dean ran a hand through his hair. "I know, but it's not what bothers me,"

"Then what does?" Sam asks. "Just what I'm willing to do for you or dad, it scares me sometimes,"

Bella sat in the only chair, tying her hair up. She looked between the two, a frown on her face.

Are you ready to play?

The bedroom door opened, and John emerged, looking much better than he did before. "It shouldn't. We're family,"

Bella flicked her eyes over to John, her frown deepening.

"You're not mad?" Dean asks, tilting his head. John shook his head. "It's just one bullet. I'm proud of you. You know how to keep your head in the game,"

They all looked up as the lights started to flicker. Bella snapped her eyes back to John, slowly coming to a stand.

John rushed to the window, looking out. "It found us. Dean give me the Colt. Sam, make sure everything is lined with salt," Sam did as told, and Dean pulled out the gun, hesitating for a moment.

He flickered his eyes to John and then Bella. Her eyes were wide as saucers, and she started to slowly scoot her way across the room. "He would've been pissed," Dean murmured.

John heaved a heavy sigh, turning around. His eyes glowed that eerie yellow, a sinister smile on his face. "Got me,"

He shot his hand out, pushing both of them against the wall. Sam emerged from the bedroom, finding himself in the same predicament.

"You," Sam snapped, struggling against the invisible hold. "Me," John smirked.

He turned his attention to Bella, pulling her forward against her will. "This little dance was fun while it lasted," Bella's feet dangled off the ground as she was pulled forward. "You're so stubborn," Bella grabbed his wrists, sucking in any air she could.

"Fuck…you," Bella rasped. John gave a deep, spine-tingling laugh. "Do you kiss your father with that mouth? Oh wait, he's dead. I'm sure Mommy would just love to see you now if she could. The one that got away. I made it quick," Bella's eyes widened in horror.

"No…"

"Leave her alone!" Sam snapped, trying to move away from the wall. "Some's getting snappy. Besides, we'll have plenty of time," John flicked his wrist, sending Bella flying into the wall at a harder force than necessary causing her to fall to a heap.

John smirked at their wide eyes. "She's not dead. Yet,"

"The Holy water..." Sam trailed off surprised. John held out his arms letting out a sigh of elation. "You think something like that would work on me?" Sam once again struggled against the wall, growling in frustration. "I'm going to kill you!"

John laughs, bending down to grab the Colt off the floor. "Is that so? Go ahead and try psychic boy," Sam narrows his eyes, but nothing happens. "Isn't this funny? I wanted to kill you the moment you strapped me off the bed, but no, I waited, and boy was this the best thing. You've been riding with me for hours," John slowly walked towards Bella, crouching down.

He moved some of the hair from her face. "What surprised me the most was that she didn't sense me. I wonder why that is," He stood back up looking over the both of them. "Your dad? He's in here, watching everything unfold. He's trying to break free, and push me out, but we all know he's not strong enough for that,"

Dean swallowed, glaring at the yellow eyes that stared back at him. "Let him go. I swear I'll-" John cut him off by walking forward. "You'll do what? This is justice Dean! Those exorcisms, and the bullet through the skull. Those were my kids,"

Dean scoffed, struggling to get himself free. "You're kidding. Mad because I killed a couple of your kids? Good,"

John rolled his eyes, humming softly. "Why'd you do it?" Sam asked, no longer struggling to get free. "Kill Jess?" John clarified. Sam nodded. John walked to him next. "She was getting in my way. I have plans for you Sam, great plans,"

Dean flicked his eyes over to Bella. "What about Bella?" He asked. John turned back to her. "I've got plans for her too. She's going to die anyway," John dismissed.

"Can we quit the chitchat now?" John stepped back, a smirk on his face as he looked at Dean. Dean suddenly yells as a sharp pain erupts from his chest. Sam struggles even harder against the force. "Stop it!" Sam yells as blood starts to soak through Dean's shirt.

John laughs manically as Dean's yell turns into a scream of absolute pain. Blood starts to drip from his nose and mouth. "Dad! Fight him!" Sam snapped, his teary eyes looking over at Dean. John was suddenly thrown backwards, and Sam dropped to the floor. He dived for the Colt, aiming it at him. "You little bitch," John looked shocked for a moment before his eyes changed briefly. Sam was once again met with yellow eyes, and smirk on John's face.

"You know what happens if you kill me," Sam nodded, shooting John in the leg. Sam quickly turned to Dean, dropping by his side. "Dean? Are you alright?" Dean could barely open his eyes, but he weaky asked about John. "He's okay, he's alright. You're bleeding," Sam didn't know what to do or touch. Dean shook his head. "Go check on him,"

Sam quickly cuts his eyes to Bella who was slowly getting up from the floor. "You okay?" He called. Bella held her stomach and nodded. She limped her way over to Dean, trading places with Sam. "Go," She spoke softly, pushing Sam in the direction of John.

She held Dean's head in her lap, wiping away some of the blood from his face. "You're okay," She whispered into his ear, her hands shaking as she ran her hand across a pool of his blood. Bella looks up as John suddenly yells, begging Sam to kill him. "Don't you do it!" Dean snaps. She helps him sit up, her hand covering her mouth as Sam debated between pulling the trigger and not killing his father. "We can end this! Right here! You have to hurry Sammy…"

A black cloud exists John's mouth and leaves through the floor. Bella didn't know to be relieved or devastated. She helps Dean off the floor, supporting much of his weight. "Sam, they need a hospital," Sam stood, helping John off the floor.

They got John and Dean into the back, and Bella swiped the keys from Dean's pocket, handing them to Sam. She slid into the passenger seat, turning around to get a good look at them. Bella ripped off a piece of her shirt, leaning in between the seats to tie it around John's leg. John winced but nodded to her in thanks.

"Why didn't you kill it Sam? I thought we were on the same page. That thing comes before everything else," Sam frowned, shaking his head. "It doesn't, and I'm sorry. We have the gun, and we can find him again,"

Bella gasped as bright white lights blinded her. "SAM!" The large semi crashed into the Impala, jostling all four of them. John and Dean were knocked out on impact, and Bella's head slammed against the window.

Sam was barely conscious as the truck driver started yelling in horror. He weakly tore his eyes to Bella who was leaning forward, blood running down her face. He looked in the rearview seeing John and Dean slumped over.

He closed his eyes, unable to stay awake any longer.

Hospital

Sam awoke to soft beeping, and he blinked his eyes open. Bella's face was the first he saw. She gave a relieved sigh, a tear dropping from her cheek. "Hey, you're awake," She whispered. Sam weakly groaned, reaching a hand towards her bandaged head and neck.

"You should be in bed," Someone stated, coming up from behind Bella. "I said I'm fine," Bella snapped, shrugging off the nurse. "How's Dean? How's Dad?" Sam asked, wincing as he sat up. "Dean's okay, he's still out. It's been a few days…" She whispered, swallowing heavily.

Sam's eyes widened. "Days?" Bella nodded. She turned back towards the nurse. "Can I stay? I'm sorry for snapping, but…let me stay," She pleaded. The nurse sighed but nodded. "Take it easy,"

Bella bit her lip, looking back at Sam. "Sam, a...a lot has happened since you've been out. Dean is…he was dying…" She whispered. Sam closed his eyes, forcing himself to move and pull out his IV. "Sam, no, you need to rest," Bella advised. Sam pushed her hands away. "I gotta see him," Sam got out of the bed, and Bella helped him steady himself. They both stopped as a sudden rush of people ran past.

They looked at each other before hobbling towards the hospital room entrance. Looking to their right, Bella gasped, "That's John's room," Two nurses held them back. "That's my dad! What's happening?!"

By the words the doctors were calling out, they knew it wasn't good. "Call it! Time of death…" Bella couldn't support Sam's weight as he dropped to his knees, bringing her down to the floor with him. "No, no, no,"

Bella closed her eyes as Sam cried into her shoulder. She ran a hand through his hair. "What's going on?" Bella turned her head to see Dean dressed in his hospital gown. "You're awake!" Dean taking in everything that was happening, he shook his head in disbelief. "NO. What happened?" Bella lifted herself off the floor, wobbling as dizziness passed through her.

Dean reached out to steady her, his eyes searching hers for answers. She pulled him into the room Sam was in, fidgeting slightly. She handed Dean a piece of paper. "He told me to give this to you. I didn't open it. John…he made a deal to save your life, and…now he's…I'm sorry Dean,"

Dean opened the piece of paper, balling it up almost immediately.

Sam was still on his knees in the hall while Bella and Dean quietly stared at him.

Bella sat on the bed as Dean walked to his brother, helping him up. Bella looked over to her right, not even surprised anymore. "Why are you here?" She whispered, turning back to the boys. "Azazel's game has just begun Bella. Are you ready?"

Bella shook her head. "Not in the slightest. Will you be around?" She asked, turning to look at him again. Castiel shook his head. "No. The next time you see me will be the day I escort you to Heaven,"

He disappeared from view, and Bella put her head in her hands.

Unbeknownst to her, Dean was watching her closely still unable to see anything around her. He did notice the interaction she had, clearly speaking to something.
