After numerous attempts to try and get the next big scoop, Zinnelle the human reporter gets a message from Elizabert Megafig to join her on Snaktooth Island. After convincing her boss to let her go, Zinnelle soon crash lands in this strange island and discovers that A, she is allergic to Bugsnax, and B, she's able to understand them when they talk!
