"I know Viktor is looking for me," he said in a low voice. "Selene," he added with a small smirk. This time she stepped back from him, snarling at his words. "I know who you are, make no mistake," he called after her, as she bolted from the room, leaving him alone again. He almost chuckled, but couldn't quite muster the energy to see the humour in the situation.
